1. Sources of Personal Data
As used in this Privacy Policy, “personal data” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with an identifiable individual and includes “personal information” and “personally identifiable information” as those terms are defined in privacy laws. Personal data does not include publicly available information; lawfully obtained, truthful information that is a matter of public concern; information that has been de-identified or anonymized; or aggregate information.
Please note that we may create aggregated, de-identified, or anonymous information from data by removing certain data components that make the data identifiable, or through aggregation, obfuscation, or other means. Subject to applicable law, aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information is not personal data, and our use and disclosure of it is not subject to this Privacy Policy.
We may collect personal data about you from the following sources:
- Directly from you. We may collect personal data you provide to us directly, such as when you register for our Services, use our Services, contact us, or otherwise interact with us.
- Data collected automatically and through tracking technologies. Our Services may use cookies and similar technologies such as web beacons, embedded scripts, and tags (collectively, “Cookies”).
- Third-Party Advertising Platforms and Analytics Providers. We may collect information from third-party platform providers, including advertising, social media, and analytics companies, who assist us in serving advertising regarding the Services to others who may be interested. For example, if you visit the Services while logged into social media or other third-party platform accounts, the platforms may collect information about your interactions with the Services, such as browser/device data and usage data, including through Cookies on our Services. We may also partner with third parties who use Cookies to serve interest-based advertising and content on their respective third-party platforms that may be based on your preferences, location, and/or interests. In this Privacy Policy, we refer to these third parties as “Third-Party Advertising Platforms and Analytics Providers.”
- Service providers. We collect personal data from our service providers, including those providing hosting, payment, analytics, advertising, customer and technical support, email services, and other services.
- Through AI features we offer. We may also collect personal data through your use of artificial intelligence features we offer, which may include Comfy UI’s open-source platform, as discussed in more detail in Section 4 (Disclosure of Personal Data), and our AI models (“AI Features”). For example, we may collect data you include in your prompts and other inputs you provide when using our AI Features. We may also collect data that is automatically generated from your use of AI Features. For example, we may collect data from the AI-generated responses and outputs you receive, and any annotations, feedback, or edits you make to those outputs, including to implement guardrails and determine content percentages for fee allocation.
We may combine the personal data we receive from third parties with personal data we otherwise collect about you through your use of our Services.
2. Personal Data We Collect
We may collect the following types of personal data:
- Identifiers, such as your name, email address, phone number, and account login information.
- Demographic information, such as age (including date of birth), sex, and racial or ethnic origin.
- Professional or employment-related information, such as your employer and related workplace information.
- Commercial information, such as your billing address, credit or debit card number, card expiration date, security code, and other information related to your transactions (through Stripe); products or services purchased, obtained, or considered; or other purchasing histories or tendencies.
- Biometric information, including facial imagery, if you upload likeness assets to be licensed (e.g., videos or photographs of an individual). This information may be used to train a model adaptor for likeness attribution improvement.
- Browser and device data, such as IP address; geolocation information; device identifier; device type; operating system and Internet browser type; screen resolution; operating system name and version; device manufacturer and model; plug-ins; add-ons; and the language version of our Services.
- Usage data, such as time spent on our Services; pages visited; searches conducted; links clicked; patterns of use; the pages that led or referred you to our Services; and diagnostic data. We may also collect information about your online activities on websites and connected devices over time and across third-party websites, devices, apps, and other online features and services.
- Audio, electronic, visual, or other sensory information, such as chat recordings.
- Records about you, such as the content, timing, and method of communications you have with us, such as via email; and information you share with or upload to our Services.
- Other information you choose to provide to us, such as information in response to surveys, forms, questionnaires, email, features on our website and software applications, engaging with customer service, or while using the Services.
- Inferences drawn from any of the information we collect to create a profile about you reflecting your preferences or behavior, including to assess the level of interest in our Services.
Note that we collect personal data contained in any inputs you provide when using our AI Features. It is ultimately your choice what personal data you choose to share through such features.
3. Use of Personal Data
We may use the personal data we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, maintain, improve, personalize, and expand our Services.
- To communicate with you, including to provide customer service and provide you with updates about our Services.
- To perform internal analytics, research, and development, including to analyze usage patterns, test new features, conduct research, and develop new products and services.
- For marketing and promotional purposes, including to provide targeted advertising.
- For internal business purposes, including general business administration.
- For systems and data security, including to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, improper, or illegal activities on our Services.
- To protect the rights and safety of Strand IG, our users, and the public.
- To comply with our legal obligations, including responding to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process; to enforce the legal or contractual terms that govern our Services; and to otherwise establish or exercise our legal rights or defenses against legal claims.
- To evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal data held by us about the users of our Services is among the assets transferred.

We may use products, features, or tools that utilize artificial intelligence, machine learning, or similar technologies for any of the above purposes.
4. Disclosure of Personal Data
We may disclose personal data to the following categories of third parties:
- Affiliates. We may disclose personal data to our corporate affiliates, including parent entities, subsidiaries, business units, and other companies that share common ownership.
- Service providers. We may disclose personal data to our service providers to provide services on our behalf, such as order fulfillment, payment processing, analytics, advertising, hosting, marketing, customer and technical support, and other services. For example, if you use our AI Features on our app, the information provided may be processed by our third-party providers on our behalf.
- Third-Party Advertising Platforms and Analytics Providers. We may disclose information to Third-Party Advertising Platforms and Analytics Providers, including as part of our business development, advertising, and marketing initiatives, including targeted/behavioral advertising.
- Business transferees. If we or our affiliates are involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or other corporate combination, your personal data may be transferred to the acquiring or surviving entity.
- Professional advisors. We may disclose personal data to our professional advisors, including attorneys, auditors, bankers, and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services they render to us.
- Authorities for compliance and harm prevention. Under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your personal data if required to do so by law, in response to valid requests by public authorities, and/or in response to a threat of harm involving an individual’s health and/or safety.

We use Cookies that collect information to improve and analyze our Services and provide targeted advertising. Some Cookies are offered by third parties who collect your personal data so they can provide services to us and information about your online activity to others. Various third parties are developing or have developed signals or other mechanisms for the expression of consumer choice regarding the collection of information about an individual consumer's online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services (e.g., browser “Do Not Track” signals). Currently, we do not monitor or take any action with respect to these signals or other mechanisms, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
6. Legal Bases for Processing
We rely on one or more legal bases to process your personal data under applicable law. We may process personal data: (i) as necessary to perform our contractual obligations to you, including, but not limited to, those obligations in our Terms of Service; (ii) as necessary to pursue our legitimate business interests as further detailed below; (iii) as necessary for our compliance with our legal obligations such as a request or order from courts, law enforcement, or other government authorities; and/or (iv) with your consent.
We may collect, process, and maintain personal data to pursue the legitimate business interests outlined below. - Providing, personalizing, measuring, and improving our marketing, including to send you promotional messages and other information that may be of interest to you with your consent. 7. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to or intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone under the age of 18. 8. Data Security, Retention, and Transfers
The security of your personal data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Civ. Code §1798.83). If you wish to request information regarding such practices under California’s “Shine the Light” Law, please email privacy@strand-intergalactic.com. You must include your full name, email address, and postal address in your email or mail request so that we can verify your California residence and respond.
B. Notice to Individuals in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
